Create Your Provider Profile
Join free with the code of the person who introduced you, or PAPOHAPO if nobody did. Your own referral code works straight away. There is no application to wait for.
Verify Your Identity
Complete Level 1 identity verification on your profile. Until you do, your referral earnings are held. You also need it to withdraw.
Share Your Code
From your Partner Hub, send an invitation by email, share your link on WhatsApp, or copy it into any chat. Your invitations then show up on your network board.
Earn When They Are Booked
Once they are Papohapo Verified and Papohapo collects its commission on their work, your share is added to your Partner Account.

Example: a KES 100,000 booking where Papohapo's commission is 10% (KES 10,000). The commission rate varies by request and is shown on each agreement.

You do not earn on your own bookings. Papohapo's commission on your own work is shown on each of your agreements.

Active means you had at least one service agreement on Papohapo in the last 12 months. Earnings become available 14 days after they are earned and are paid to M-Pesa on request: minimum KES 500, one withdrawal per calendar month, and Papohapo pays the transfer fee. Papohapo deducts withholding tax where the law requires it.

Your name goes with every referral
A referral records who introduced a provider. It does not make them verified. Every provider completes Papohapo's KYC checks before they show the Papohapo Verified badge, and your commission only starts after that. Introduce people whose work you would put your own name to.

Who can join?
Any service provider with a Papohapo profile. You get your referral code as soon as you register, with no application review.
Do I need a referral code to register?
Yes. Use the code of the person who introduced you to Papohapo. If nobody did, enter PAPOHAPO.
When do I start earning?
You start earning when a provider you introduced is Papohapo Verified and Papohapo has collected its commission on a booking they delivered through the platform. Complete your own identity verification too, or your earnings are held.
Will referring other providers cost me work?
Planners choose on quotes, reviews and fit. Most providers refer services that complement their own, like a photographer referring a videographer. A larger, trusted network brings more events to Papohapo for everyone.
Can I refer event planners too?
Yes. Planners join with the same code. When the providers they introduce are booked, you earn the Level 2 share, and the planners you bring in can invite you to quote on their events.
How do I get paid?
Your earnings build up in your Partner Account and become available 14 days after they are earned. Request a withdrawal to your verified M-Pesa number once you have at least KES 500. You can withdraw once per calendar month.
Does a referral change what the provider or client pays?
No. Referral commission comes out of Papohapo's own commission.
