Why Papohapo exists
Anyone who has planned a wedding, a ruracio, a graduation party or a harambee in Kenya knows the feeling. The joy of the occasion gets buried under calls, chasing and guesswork. That is the problem Papohapo was created to solve.
Event planning is scattered across a dozen places. Nothing is connected to the event itself, so nobody has the full picture: not the family, not the committee, not the providers.
We kept asking simple questions that nobody could answer in one place.
One connected journey for every event, where organisers, planners and providers work from the same plan, the same quotes, the same agreements and the same payment records.
How it started
Papohapo was born from a simple realisation: planning events in Kenya was far more stressful than it needed to be. We kept hearing the same stories from friends and family about how hard it was to find reliable suppliers for weddings, parties and corporate events.
So we set out to build one trusted platform where organisers could find verified service providers and run the whole event from a single plan. As we built it, it grew into much more: budgets and tasks, structured quotes, digital agreements, payment tracking, event pages, guest lists and gift registries, all connected.

Engagements are formalised in agreements both sides sign. Changes go through a formal amendment.

Who is behind Papohapo
Papohapo Service Link is built and run by Ericsoft Technologies from Kitengela, Kenya. We started Papohapo because we kept hearing the same stories from friends and family about how stressful their events had been, and we are building it alongside the organisers, planners and providers who use it every day.
